Over the years, the Africa Skills Hub rebranded as ASH Africa organisation, has extended its reach across all 16 regions of Ghana while implementing programmes and partnerships in multiple African countries.
From ACCRA-Ghana, the Ghana-based enterprise support organisation Africa Skills Hub (ASH), which focuses on youth, women and SME development, has officially rebranded as ASH Africa (www.ASH.Africa), marking a major milestone in its decade-long effort to expand economic opportunities across the continent.
The transition to ASH Africa, echoes the organisation’s evolution from a skills development institution, into a pan-African development organisation guided by the mission: “Transforming Lives. Building Communities. Building Africa.”
Founded in 2016 as the Africa Internship Academy (AIA), the organisation initially concentrated on improving youth employability and expanding access to internship opportunities in Ghana. In 2020, it rebranded as Africa Skills Hub (ASH), broadening its scope to include enterprise development, financial inclusion, SME support, digital skills training and market systems strengthening.
Since then, the organisation has expanded its footprint to all 16 regions of Ghana and has implemented programmes and strategic partnerships in several African countries, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive economic growth and sustainable development across the continent.
The transition to ASH Africa reflects the organisation’s growing continental outlook and aligns with its newly launched 2026-2030 Strategic Plan, which outlines a vision to support more than 500,000 youth, women, and SMEs annually by 2030.
